Tommee Tippee Spring Bottle Collection Review

Tommee Tippee has come out with new spring  colored bottle for boys and girls, since I have a boy I am reviewing the boy collection.  I love the colors very spring like and fun, more importantly the bottle in it self is very good especially if your breast feeding and want to transition your child to bottle.

Note: I received product samples for review purpose. No other compensation was received. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own

The first thing I noticed about the bottle was the nipple the shaped like a women's breast and felt like a women's breast, also the nipple has a little valve to make feeding more comfortable for the baby by letting out the air and preventing gas.

Secondly, The shape of the bottle was very different from what I was use to seeing and using but once I started feeding KJ I was able to appreciate the shape of the bottle it wasn't big and uncomfortable. It was compact and easy to hold for me and KJ, it was easy for him to grip the bottle.

The package comes with 3 bottles a light blue, light green and light purple, the bottles can hold 9 oz's of milk which is great most bottles only hold 8oz's for me that extra oz matters especially since my little guy is already drinking 7 oz's.

KJ wasn't too happy with the bottle at first he was having a bit of a hard time latching but after a few tries he starting getting the hang of it and took his feed, he is not breastfed  but the fact that he was able to still use the bottle is another plus.

I definitely recommend this bottle for mom's who are breastfeeding and want to transition their baby from breast to bottle  this is good a bottle made to make it easier 9 out of 10 moms agree.

The package has a list of 6 good reasons why Tommee Tippee makes it easy to switch from breast to bottle, 6 good reasons I wished I had found when I was trying to switch my 3 year old now breast to bottle when she was a baby.
  1. Soft silicone nipple feels closer to skin.
  2. Flex and stretch nipples mimics breastfeeding.
  3. Breast-like shape for easy latch.
  4. Super sensitive easy-vent valve for a more comfortable baby.
  5. Compact shape allows baby to be closer to you.
  6. Easy to switch between breast and bottle feedings 9/10 moms agree.
For 3 bottles the price is only $23.99, It is only sold at Babiesrus stores and online at www.Babiesrus.com

Playskool Potty Time Elmo Review

My family are huge Elmo fans, so when I was offered the opportunity to review Sesame Street "Potty Time Elmo" by Playskool, I was definitely interested.

Note: I received product samples for review purpose. Any personal views expressed are always 100% my own.

My 3 year old daughter is already potty trained, but I wish I had this when back a few months ago. It's so easy, fun and my daughter enjoyed "helping" Elmo's for his potty time.

The Potty Time Elmo comes with a child size Elmo, a potty, sippy cup for Elmo, reward chart and 28 stickers. The reward sticker sheet is a nice touch for motivation since they're bright and colorful stickers of the sesame street characters.

Potty Time Elmo is very interactive. Give Elmo a sip from his sippy cup he gulps and giggles, then lets you know he has to use the potty.

Then your child can "help" pull down Elmo pants and sit him down so he can use the potty. If you get him on the potty on time, he lets you know he's going. But if he doesn't make it then he will let you know Uh Oh Elmo didn't make it. The child gets the visual of what happens when its time to potty.

What I really like about Potty Time Elmo is that it's not just Elmo going to the potty.

Elmo has accidents and sometimes doesn't make it to the potty. This helps our little ones know that accidents happen and sometimes they won't make it to the potty. For those times Elmo sings a little song about having an accident. And it's OK to have accidents. Next time they'll make it to the potty, which is very important for toddlers self esteem.

When Elmo does make it to the potty, he has a happy reward song he sings to celebrate. This song is also important to children and they can celebrate with Elmo when they use the potty.

My daughter absolutely loved the potty time Elmo, she couldn't get enough of the toy and the songs.

Playskool Sesame Street Potty Time Elmo is $29.99 for ages over 18 months to 4 years.

4 months!!!

4 months!! 18 weeks to be exact. Good Golly where is the time going? I cant believe the end of this year he will be one! I know I have some time but the way times is going if I blink I might miss something.  KJ is such a smart boy and so laid back I love it, He doesn't cry unless he really needs something you know the essentials food, pamper change or my favorite cuddle time.  He is moving so fast and doing so much he rolls over, grabs at what he wants (might I add he has a very good grip) hair, toys, your face LOL he likes causing pain it's a game to him and we all play happily while tending to our sore spots.  KJ is also working on sitting right now he has it for the most part but he gets so excited and start kicking then falls back so we have to continue working on his balance and excitement, I'm sure he will have it down packed by next months post.

My handsome lil guy!
When KJ was born family would ask if it  feels different having a boy at that time there was no difference besides diaper changes for the obvious reason but other than that he was just a baby now that he's a little older there is definitely a difference, already I can say he's rougher than my girls were at his age and I am sure the older he gets the more rough he will be.  I call him mommies little boy and my little man, I think he starting to know hi name we call it and looks at whoever said it (proud mommy can you tell?)  I thank God for my little Guy he was so worth the wait and I am blessed to have him.

The girls were fun dressing up but I REALLY enjoy putting him in little men clothes, that was always my dream and It is coming true, especially on holidays.  This Easter we dressed him in a cute little stripe suit he looked so adorable of course he didn't care and he drooled all over it but we kept a bib on him, If you've been around him after a feed you now for those who haven't he is the spit up king it never fails but I warn people before they hold him "he will most likely spit up in you" but they never care they just want to hold the cute baby but we did a good job protecting his suit that day.

Leah's feeding KJ Awww.
Leah is still the little mommy, it's annoying sometimes but I am patient with her because I know she cares about her brother.  KJ had his 4 month check-up and Leah had her 3 year check up, KJ is doing great gaining weight  and height he weighs 17lbs now which I can't believe because to me he doesn't look 17lbs,  he is 26 and a quarter inches tall. The doctor said Developmentally he's at the age of a 6 month old :-) no concerns.  Of course he had to get the his 4 month shots :-( I am all for vaccines I hear about parents who don't believe in getting their children vaccinated to each its own but for my children I rather be safe than sorry. Anyway,  he drank his first vaccine no problems then it was time for his shots I was so scared and too my surprise so was Leah he kept saying "there going to hurt him" he got his first shot and to my surprise my big man didn't even flinch he took it like a big boy, the nurse warned me the second one will burn so he is likely to cry so said so done he got the second shot and he cried a little nothing big Leah on the other hand was balling for her brother you would've thought she got shots but she didn't she was just hurting for her brother.  How sweet.

Their Bond is amazing he looks for every morning when he wakes up and of course she looks for him when she wakes up. He watches her every move and she watches over him, they play together and sometimes I have to save him from Leah but its all apart of them growing up together, what I love is both his sisters are over protective of him.  I know he gonna miss her when she starts school next week, I'm gonna miss her too. I'm more excited for her she's been asking to go to school since she found out about school but I wasn't ready to let her go but now that I found a great school that I am comfortable with preschool here she comes!

Here's some more pictures of KJ and family.

I would like to again congratulate my childhood friend Xiomara for giving birth to her beautiful son Javier Tyler on April 12, He was 26 weeks  but he is fighting like nobodies business I ask everyone  to keep praying for JT and his family through this long rough journey,  God is in the mist of it all and he has already done the work needed for JT.
